What fees do I pay?

Flashfood charges a small service fee on every order to support the Flashfood platform and create a secure, enjoyable experience that protects your data.

 

The service fee is 5% of the total, with a maximum fee of $2.99 regardless of order size. 

A few examples of what a 5% service fee looks like:

  • For a $5 order, your fee would be 25 cents. 
  • For a $12 order, your fee would be 60 cents.

Flashfood charges a small, 5% service fee on every order in the Flashfood app. 

 

Can I use my EBT card to pay the service fee?

EBT cards cannot be used to pay the service fee. When you use your EBT card to place an order on Flashfood, the 5% service fee will be applied to the credit card on your account, not the EBT card. 

 

Is the service fee taxed?

Yes, tax is based on the taxable items in each Flashfood order, plus the service fee.

 

Will I get the service fee back if my order is refunded? 

Yes, all refunds would include the service fee amount.

 

Can I use Flashfood credits to pay the service fee? 

Yes, the service fee can be paid with Flashfood credits.
