Excessive minimum fee (.99$)

The introduction of a $0.99 minimum fee is excessively high. Personally, I often purchase items under $5, and these new charges mean that the savings are no longer worthwhile. I have been a regular customer for years, but it is no longer worth shopping via Flashfood. In my view, the mission of this program is now at risk. There will be fewer customers, which will lead to more food waste. I therefore urge the Flashfood team to remove this minimum fee.

  I just sent them a comment to this effect after I decided against a $4 purchase based on the 25% price increase due to the fee.  And had I been considering a $2 item or $1 item…well, forget about it.  Obviously.
  
  I hadn't realized this was a new fee amount and was kicking myself for not noticing in the past.  However, it was a relief to see that it's only been in effect since Oct 2026.

  I got an automated (AI) response to the email, so hopefully they take the time to review it.
