I cannot find any location near me! My map is not working properly! (Android)

Depending on your device there might be some settings you need to enable for our app to work properly. The fastest way to do this is to click the green Enable Location in the message you receive while on the Map section in the app.

 

If you use an Android device please do the following steps:

1. Open your Settings
2. Go to Apps
3. Select Apps
4. Search for Flashfood and select it
5. Tap on Permissions
6. Tap on Locations
7. Make sure the option “Allow only while using the app” is selected
8. Voila! You should be able to find participating stores near you.

 

If those steps don't work, make sure that your Google location is also enabled by following these steps:

1. Open your Settings
2. Go to Locations
3. Click on Google location accuracy
4. Enable Google location accuracy

  • This new version needs to be fixed, or even just pulled. The app frequently can't find stores near me, despite me not changing my settings which worked just fine for the last iteration, and sometimes it sees the stores, but not what is being offered, even though these stores do indeed have product available. It also takes an incredibly long to load anything, and it takes so long to get to the payment stage and then even more time to actually complete the payment. The app is now very frustrating to use, especially as the last version was at least stable and predictable.
